RelightAI ("we", "us", or "our") respects your privacy and is committed to protecting your personal information. This Privacy Policy explains how our Chrome extension ("Extension") collects, uses, and protects your information.

1. Images You Upload
- What: Photos you voluntarily upload for virtual try-on processing
- Purpose: To provide AI-powered clothing visualization services
- Processing: Your original images are directly uploaded to fal.ai (our AI processing partner) for processing
- Storage: We do not store your original uploaded images on our servers
2. API Access Information
- What: Access codes you enter to authenticate with our service
- Purpose: To verify your account and enable extension functionality
- Storage: Stored locally in your Chrome browser using Chrome's sync storage
- Security: Encrypted in transit, stored securely on Google's servers
3. Generated Results
- What: AI-generated try-on images created from your uploads. These are newly generated outputs, not your original uploaded photos.
- Purpose: To deliver processed results back to you
- Storage: Stored in our secure cloud storage (Cloudflare R2) for delivery and access
- Retention: Results are kept for 6 months to allow re-download, but you can request deletion at any time
4. Technical Information
- What: Extension usage data, error logs, website URLs where extension is used
- Purpose: To improve extension functionality and provide support
- Collection: Only when analytics are explicitly enabled (opt-in, disabled by default)
- Data: Anonymous and aggregated, no personal identification
5. Website Interaction Data
- What: Information about product images detected on websites
- Purpose: To improve automatic image detection algorithms
- Storage: Processed locally in your browser, not transmitted to our servers
- Privacy: Image URLs may be logged for debugging (no image content stored)
How We Use Your Information
Primary Uses
- Service Provision: Process your uploaded photos for virtual try-on functionality
- Account Management: Verify your API access and manage service limits

We Do NOT:
- Store your original uploaded photos on our servers
- Share your images with third parties except for fal.ai (our AI processing partner) solely to provide the try-on service

- Track your browsing history outside of extension usage
- Collect personal information beyond what's necessary for the service
Data Sharing and Disclosure
Third-Party Services
- AI Processing: Original images are sent directly to fal.ai for AI processing. This sharing occurs only to provide the try-on service you requested. fal.ai processes images under their own privacy and security policies.
- Storage: Generated results are stored in Cloudflare R2 for delivery and access
- Analytics: Anonymous usage data may be shared with analytics providers (Google Analytics) only when explicitly enabled by the user
- Extension Communication: The extension only connects directly to relightai.co. All third-party processing occurs on our backend servers.
